Tofino Fishing Adventures is a family operated business with a deep rooted passion for the ocean. It is our aim to share our passion for this coast, educate about our local waters and wildlife, conserve and fish sustainably, and have fun... lots and lots of FUN.

ABOUT US

Tofino Fishing Adventures, is located far on the western edge of the continent, in Tofino BC – gateway to the Clayoquot Sound UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and the big blue of the Pacific Ocean. Tofino Fishing Adventures is an owner/operator family run outfit launched for the 2015 season by your fully experienced captain and guide Adam Watson. Although the company may be new, the experience behind it (both locally and afar) is extensive and will have you feeling safe and relaxed as we venture in pursuit of the exciting Chinook, the prized Halibut, the feisty Coho and the variety of other groundfish that inhabit the waters surrounding Tofino. There is a world-class angling experience waiting for you here, and something for everyone. Come join us and see for yourselves what everyone is raving about!

Tofino Fishing Adventures offers private half day, full day or multi day fishing charters aboard our 27′ completely restored and customized classic sport fishing vessel. “Double Down” can comfortably and safely accommodate up to 8 guests on the water, has an onboard Marine Toilet, refrigeration, inboard fresh water tanks, covered indoor seating for up to 6 guests,  flybridge for wildlife viewing and a large aft deck for wrangling your catch! Not only does she offer space and comfort, but she combines classic styling with modern safety and electrical equipment and plenty of power to get to the fishing grounds.

Although Tofino Fishing Adventures main focus is fishing, we also recognize the uniqueness of our vessel and are pleased to offer completely customized private charters, so you can combine fishing and/or explore the variety of what the waters around Tofino have to offer – Whale and Bear Watching, Sightseeing and Photography, Hot Springs Cove Tours, Surf drops, Dinner Cruises, Freedom Cove or just a great day out on the water!

We would love to share this unique west coast experience with you! Please contact us for more information on our sport fishing charters or to inquire about availability and rates.

HOW ARE WE DIFFERENT?

  • Our focus is COMFORT. We can comfortably and safely accommodate up to 8 people (6 preferred if fishing for maximum rod time per person) or give your smaller group an abundance of elbow room. Bachelor groups, larger families, corporate groups… we strive to make sure you enjoy your experience on a comfortable and safe vessel!

  • We have a fully functioning on-board MARINE HEAD (toilet) with holding tanks. That means no fussing with porta-potties or buckets on a 10 hour charter!

  • Refrigeration on board to keep your beverages chilled all day.

  • Outdoor flybridge for that higher vantage point – perfect for catching a great view of the action on the fish deck, photography opportunities, sightseeing or even sun bathing!

  • We have a completely covered and cushioned indoor seating area that can keep 6 people seated and out of the west coast Tofino weather –  be it the rain, fog or beating sun.

  • We have FRESH WATER tanks on board so bring your water bottle and we’ll refill it as often as needed! In our effort to reduce single use plastics, you won’t find disposable water bottles here!

  • Salt Ice on site for transporting your catch on request.
  • Low emission 3G Radar combined with other modern navigation and fish finding electronics.

Just had a great day out with Adam. He is a very knowledgeable guide, knows the area like the back of his hand and extremely knowledgeable about fishing. We caught a range of fish including two Coho salmon but probably the highlight for me was the variation of wildlife, sea lion, so many sea otters and a very personal experience with a grey whale which will be unforgettable. Adam has a very easy going nature, his boat is well looked after and very comfortable. You will have a great day out, highly recommended.
